Shillong

Shillong is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya state in India, also known as "The Abode of Clouds". It is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 feet (1,496 m) above sea level. It’s known for Lady Hydari Park’s manicured gardens and the Ward’s Lake which is surrounded by walking trails and waterfalls including the Elephant Falls to the southwest. The forested Shillong Peak offers beautiful city views.
